Family Camp (Hope Project)

We ask for your support from a distance, with thoughts and prayers for Gracia Missions and our team today through Sunday. This evening we will be receiving 7 families at Camp Roblealto for a weekend camp. The families consist of single mothers and children, who are currently in a special government placement/protection facility, due to threat of domestic abuse and violence. 

This will be the first Hope Project Family Camp since the COVID-19 pandemic. There are many risks involved with this group of young mothers and children. As an organization, we have specific protocal in place for their protection. On-site will be our partner doctor, who has served with us since the beginning of Hope Project eleven years ago. As well, we will have other professionals to assist such as psychologists and child-service experts. Due to the elevated level of risk and need for protection, we will be unble to share photos and video, but will keep you posted in other ways. 

*As a reminder, we are now more than 1/2 the way through 2024. We have camps scheduled for this month September, how we are in need of assistance for November and December. Will you help accomplish a goal of hosting at least 1 camp per month until the end of the year? A gift of $109.00 U.S. Dollars will sponsor one individual to attend camp for 3 days, including activities, studies, food, lodging, transportation and medical care.
